WHEN THE WIND TURNS – THE FUTURE IS RENEWABLE

The new interactive exhibition “When the Wind Turns – the Future is Renewable” by EnergieSchweiz, showcasing at the Umwelt Arena Schweiz in Spreitenbach, illustrates what each individual can do for the climate. Visitors are encouraged to create more environmentally friendly neighborhoods.

The main theme of the exhibition is decarbonization, as emissions from fossil fuels are responsible for climate warming. The goal is to move away from these emissions to make Switzerland climate-neutral by 2050. The exhibition aims to convey that a shift in thinking is necessary but also achievable. It emphasizes the urgency of the issue and demonstrates, through practical examples, what everyone can do to turn the tide. The playful approach is intentionally chosen, primarily targeting a younger audience – children and teenagers who are familiar with gaming and enjoy a fast pace. Speed is a significant factor at the exhibition stations, as time is crucial in achieving climate goals.
